Luminous coral petals tipped in gold sit over a vivid fuchsia reverse on RM Illusion, so the bloom seems to change colour as you walk around it. Flowers measure about four to four and a half inches and are listed as formal decorative. Each one opens with a green centre that fades as the bloom matures, adding to the shifting effect.
This is a tall, vigorous grower that reaches about five and a half feet, so plan on sturdy staking. Its blend of coral, gold and fuchsia makes it a strong focal flower in bouquets, where it can tie together oranges and hot pinks. Pair it with burgundy foliage or deep plum dahlias to bring out the reverse. A rewarding pick for gardeners who like bold, multi toned blooms.
