Tanita

Tanita is a dramatic decorative dahlia celebrated for its deep magenta-purple blooms with sultry, darker undersides. The 4-inch flowers are richly layered, with petals that soften slightly at the tips while the shadowed undersides create striking depth and contrast. The result is bold, moody, and completely unforgettable in full bloom.

Plants grow to approximately 3-4 feet in height and produce strong stems well suited for cutting. Reliable bloom production and vivid colouring make Tanita an excellent performer in cutting gardens and bouquet-focused plantings where saturation and drama are desired.

Its magenta-purple tones pair beautifully with blush, dusty rose, creamy ivory, muted plum, terracotta, and jewel-toned palettes. It integrates seamlessly into romantic wedding work while also anchoring bold late-summer and autumn arrangements.
