A clear yellow laciniated dahlia from Van Isle Dahlias in British Columbia, Citronella has the finely split petal tips that give this form its frilly, textured look. It is classed as a medium bloom, roughly 6 to 8 inches across. The colour reads as bright citrus yellow.
Laciniated blooms catch the light and add movement to a vase, and a yellow one brings real cheer to late summer arrangements. It suits gardeners who enjoy textured forms and want a Canadian bred variety. Try it with white, lavender or deep purple for contrast.
